Nigel Parkinson, General Manager
Nigel’s earlier careers included event planning, Ski Resort Manager and working for Airworld, a Sunworld charter airline. His career in travel management began in the late 90s as National Account Manager for KLM UK based in central London. In 2000 he went on to become Business Manager at BTI UK (now known as HRG Hogg Robinson Group) which offers services such as Corporate Travel Management, Consulting, Sports, Expense Management and Events and Meetings Management. His experience working with clients for a portfolio of US and Pan European accounts led him to his promotion three years later as ASPAC Regional Business Manager (BTI Asia Pacific) based in Hong Kong where he had hands on experience covering Client Implementation, Operations and strategic Account Management.
Nigel was most recently with Carlson Wagonlit Travel based in the UK as their Director of Account Management where he successfully managed a team of Account Managers, Senior Account Managers and Multi National Account Managers.
Nigel graduated from the University of Brighton, UK in (BAHons) International Tourism Management.
