Terry Mccabe, National Leisure Director
Terry McCabe is national leisure director of ALTOUR, and part of ALTOUR's senior management team that oversees the agency's leisure travel division. Based in New Jersey, McCabe also oversees all aspects of growth and operation of ALTOUR's Paramus office.
A 26-year veteran of the travel industry, McCabe has received multiple honors for her outstanding work. A consistent member of Condé Nast Traveler's annual list of top travel specialists and a frequent industry resource for national consumer press, McCabe is widely recognized for her expertise on tropical beach destinations and the Caribbean. In addition, she has also served as the online beach expert for Discovery's "The Travel Channel." McCabe is an active member of multiple industry and hotel advisory boards for such esteemed committees as Condé Nast Traveler, The Four Seasons, Preferred Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels and Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.
Prior to joining ALTOUR, McCabe served as president of Stratton Travel Management, Inc., a large independent travel management company which employed her for 25 years. An enthusiastic traveler, McCabe's favorite destinations include the tropical beaches of the Caribbean and Africa. She also enjoys gardening at her home in Glen Rock, NJ.
