Martin Rapp is senior vice president of leisure sales for ALTOUR, a highly respected global travel company that specializes in the fields of finance, entertainment, production and executive leisure travel. Recognized as the company's all-knowing "professor", Rapp regularly travels around the globe to inspect new properties while meeting hotel managers, specialized tour operators, expert guides and other professionals. His knowledge and expertise in the luxury market allows him to provide invaluable guidance and advice for ALTOUR travel consultants throughout the United States and Europe.

Rapp has more than 20 years experience in the travel industry. Prior to joining ALTOUR in 1995, Rapp served as a travel advisor specializing in high-end travel. Before that, he was one of the principals of the renowned Traveler's Bookstore in Rockefeller Center in New York City. During his tenure, he traveled extensively around the world to all but a few remote countries. Previously, Rapp enjoyed two decades in the world of publishing. He began his career as the business manager of the American Heritage Magazine and later became the director of publications and retail operations at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Rapp is involved in travel industry activities on behalf of ALTOUR. He often appears on The Travel Channel and publishes articles in travel magazines including Travel + Leisure where he serves as a contributing editor. Furthermore, Rapp is consistently recognized as one of the 70 best travel agents in America by Travel + Leisure.

Rapp received his degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. He resides in New York City.
